This point is completely irrelevant, irrational and quite honestly stupid. To rebuttal this in any instance, criminals also drink water, breathe, eat, travel and ect. Nonetheless criminals do use this software, however this does not denounce this. TOR is not fool proof at all, criminals will always get caught by law enforcement or ethical white hat hackers. An example of this was when a Harvard student used the TOR network to send an email to the admin staff announcing a bomb threat, simply to get out of a test. When an investigation sparked, it was nothing more elaborate then checking Harvard’s internet and behold there was a suspicious connection to the TOR network at the time and relevance to the email sent to the staff. How did this happen? Well while TOR does hide your search and requests online, the network you are on can see that someone is connected to the TOR network.
